A dream stay in Åndalsnes!!! We got picked up at Molde Airport and had a smooth drive to the villa. Our host shared a bit about the area along the way, which was really helpful.

Villa Romsdalen is in the center of Åndalsnes. You can walk to everything. When we arrived, we got a quick tour of the house and were welcomed with warm cinnamon buns and fresh coffee. It felt like home right away.

We explored the area each day. Took the cable car. Hiked to a secret picnic spot. Visited Trollstigen. We had a private tour at a charming stave church and also visited a local cider producer farm!!! One night we had dinner at Engen Restaurant. The other nights, the villa’s private chef made us the most amazing meals. Breakfast was also a highlight.

There’s a sauna in the backyard. Definitely don’t skip it. The only downside? The views from bed were so good we didn’t want to get up.

Can’t wait to go back.
