We chose this hotel as the last stop before entering Nordkapp. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful. There was no problem with accommodation, even though our plans changed and we arrived a few days earlier. Upon arrival, we were given directions to the best restaurants in the area, and when we returned from the city after dinner, the room was already prepared. The atmosphere, views and silence in the hotel are unique. The rooms are very well-kept, the dining room and equipment are available 24/7. Breakfasts are available in several variants, we chose the Scandinavian type and we were not disappointed - everything was simply perfect.

Great place to stay if you decided to head up to the northern cape. Also it is a 15 mins drive to a view point to see the northern light. Also a 10 mins drive to the town for food.FYI: road to north cape will be closed if weather condition is bad, so cater more than 1 night here if you really want to go up to the north cape in winter.

The View. Indeed you have an incredible view over the city.
The staff very friendly, rooms clean , breakfast delicious with everything you need.
Saunas, whirlpool and fitness room are available for guests.

A modern hotel that is much better than it looks. The rooms were a good size, the bed extremely comfortable and the staff very helpful. There is a large dining area with great views, free tea and coffee plus an honesty bar.
The restaurant was closed when we were there ( out of season )
There is ample parking, the only negative was the lack of a lift, but the staff offered to carry your bags to the room if needed.
A very pleasant stay.

Great, comfortable room. If you don't get a room with a view the view is still amazing from the lounge/restaurant and rooftop deck. The woman running the hotel was great, so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also good. We wish we could have stayed in the area longer because we really enjoyed our stay there.

This is my 3rd visit to Honningsvaag in the last 5 years. Each time I stayed in a different Hotel. The View is the best of the lot.

The rooms are well maintained, neat, hygienic & a complete value for money. I have given it a 5* rating and it deserves it.

The 3 course meal has sumptuous Reindeer & King Crab on the Menu, don't miss the Red Wine that goes along. I'd love to visit The View again.

I'm sure the successful local fisherman who has set foot in this hospitality business will succeed too.

Second year in a row we stay in The View and another great experience. Ayako, the Lady in charge is outstanding for making us feel like being home. The rooms are very comfortable. The view is unique. Thank you so much! We will come again.
