I was surprised how big this place actually is. The room we had provided enough space, the bed was really comfortable and the service was great.
For dinner they offer a buffet with lots of choices so you have no waiting time after a long trip.
25 minutes from the north cape it is perfect to stay over night. There's also enough space to park your car near your room.
I recommend staying here.

We were shunted from our scheduled hotel, the Scandic Honningsvag in town without warning or explanation. This hotel is a barracks style, and it reminded me of a large school camp, with a large mess hall (restaurant) that you walked to exposed to the weather. No availability to walk in cold or wet weather without the necessary clothes into the restaurant. We stayed in a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom about the size of a cruise ship, with no desk, no tv, no wifi in rooms, and poor lighting. The positives were a heated bathroom floor, and a heater in room, and all things considered with the temperature outside (in the middle of summer) at 5 degrees and constant drizzle, it was better than sleeping in the cold and rain.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful landscape.
Breakfast is a typical Scandic buffet, a lot of choice and very good.
Room was very clean and we had an amazing view.

On a two night stay travelling on local coach with driver (not on the luxuria coach with drivers) with Leger holidays on a 16 day Arctic Circle and the land of the midnight sun holiday, apparently this used to be the Olympic Village, over two floors with no lift, rooms were clean and comfortable, no tv or hairdryer or tea and coffee making facilities, we enjoyed a buffet style dinner and breakfast, meals were on a set time of 45 mins a setting to eat, you could sit upstairs in the lounge area after your evening meal, as the evenings stayed light we enjoyed nice walks around the area the views and scenery were amazing, the hotel is in a excellent location, staff friendly and helpful. On our first night at the hotel we were taken at 9:30pm by local coach and driver to the North Cape, the north cape hall is a vast complex with cafe, restaurant, toilets, large souvenir shop, small museum and a video cinema. We saw the globe of the north cape and the midnight sun which was absolutely perfect, we had fantastic photos. On our second day staying at the hotel we went with local coach and driver to visit Honningsvag, Skarsvag and Kamoyaer fishing villages and tea and waffles in the Christmas house.|I enjoyed my two nights stay at the Scandic Nordkapp hotel.

Good location close to North Cap.||Worth the price, clean simple rooms, good beds, friendly staff. Good breakfast, dinner buffet ok. We will stay there again when visiting the region. Nice surrounding.

Vi hadde en veldig dårlig opplevelse, med elendig kundebehandling. Vi var innom resepsjonen 3 ganger og spurte om det samme, fikk beskjed om at de skulle ta det videre, og alt skulle være fikset til vi skulle sjekke ut. Det var det ikke. Frustrerende at 3 stykker ikke klarer å ta saken videre eller ordne det.||Rommene er simple, og badene burde vært pusset opp for lenge siden. Det er ikke wifi på rommene, ikke tv, strykejern, kjøleskap, safe eller hårføner. Frokosten er enkel og har lite utvalg. Ville sagt at dette er et av de dårligste Scandic hotellene jeg har vært på. ||Velg heller et av hotellene inne i honningsvåg. Dette ligger slik at man må kjøre for å komme seg steder. Ville sagt at dette er et dårlig bussturist hotell. ||Ingen av de ansatte snakket norsk.

This should never be called a Scandic hotel,as quality is lower,but on the flip side,being so far up north,it is fine. The breakfast buffet did not have many items and the evening buffet was very lousy and there was not much different foods. The staff was very caring and accomodative.The room looked like a ship cabin and the bathroom was all plastic. There was no wifi in the room and no TV.Even elderly people were given rooms on 1st and 2nd floor and had to carry their luggage up

Resepsjonsområdet var hyggelig, men det stopper der. ||Kaldt å gå mellom resepsjon og rom, kaldt på rommet, ingen tv, ingen wifi, ingen dobbelsenger på hele hotellet, kaldt og rått bad.||Kostet 750 kroner for middagsbuffét for to med kjedelig, smakløs mat. Frokosten var ok, hyggelig personale. ||Dyrt for standaren, ville gått for noe annet om jeg hadde kunnet velge om igjen.
