It was booked by my son Timoteo. We stayed on March 29th, 2024. The experience is pretty expensive. Around 500 usd per person. We were my sons, my wife and me. Five in total. Let me start with the good things. The tents are very nice with the ceiling with a nice view of the sky which allows one to see the northern lights very comfortable. The other nice experience is the snowmobile. This are the positive things. Let me start with the cons. 1) they pick up at the Radisson hotel. We have to walked three blocks from where we were staying. At that price one would expect to be picked up at your hotel. 2) the dinner was a stew only with no choices. Same for the dessert. Water and a berry juice. If you want a soda you have to pay for it. 3) the Jacuzzi was at a temperature of 32 degrees. 4) the tents have a toilet inside but it is not connected so what you do will remain with you all night long. 5) there is only two toilets connected in all the camp with only two showers. We were very lucky that we were alone in the camp. But may be you have to do a line to get to the bath room or to the toilets. Take into account that temperatures are really extreme. 6) Next day we have the snowmobile tour. We were an odd number so we expected that one of my sons (youngest 25) will have a single mobile. Not the case he had to ride with the coordinator going out of the camp. We have lucky in the return to the camp that another clients that join us for the excursion let him ride the mobile. At the end somebody didn’t drive. 7) Guess what was for lunch. The same stew that the night before. If you want to charge 500 dollars per customer you have to be in all the details. Clearly was far from that.

We were here a week ago and had an absolutely fantastic stay. The glass tents are very modern, clean and comfortable. The service and food were amazing. We also booked a Sauna and Snowmobile tour. Lauris was a very good guide. You can sit at the fire in the Lavvu as well. We were lucky to see the northern lights for the whole evening. Can only recommend to stay here.

This week, I returned from a glorious 3 nights at North Experience. It was just what I wanted- a winter wonderland in nature, while sleeping in a comfortable, beautiful and cozy glass igloo, with hopes of seeing the Northern Lights. Though it was pretty stormy, staff made sure I had activities to do if I wanted- snow shoeing to the fjord, river, and little town, and taking saunas in the incredible sauna! I'm vegetarian and my diet was accomodated with delicious veggie chili and other soups. Staff was attentive and kind, facilities new, and Thomas and Lauma especially helpful and generous. I recommend them without reservation.

Unfortunately, our 24 Hour Experience at the North Experience was far from satisfactory and was plagued by multiple disappointments. Firstly, our pick-up was nearly an hour late, setting a bad tone from the start. Upon arrival, we were greeted by by two different staff. Half of the group were taken to their rooms and given a proper orientation. The other group - our group - was guided by another staff member, whose main priority seemed to be going home.

We were hastily walked to our rooms, without proper introduction to the property, leaving generalized confusion. Furthermore, the absence of orientation to the facilities, including the communal teepee, Cabin room, breakfast options/timing, or snowmobiling/snowshoeing opportunities, was incredibly frustrating. We were not instructed on timing of check out and when we would be having breakfast the following day. We didn't even know what was offered or what we could have done on the property until the end of breakfast the following day when we inadvertently heard from another staff member and other guests who were given the proper orientation.

Our group was treated completely differently from the other half of the visitors.
Our igloo entrance was buried under snow, unlike the other four igloos with properly shoveled decks - clearly indicating a lack of attention to basic maintenance. We had slipped twice coming out of our igloo and even when we alerted staff, nothing was done to help the situation. Our outdoor wooden chairs were half covered in snow and, again, our igloo and our very presence seemed more of an afterthought and inconvenience for the staff.

Inside the room, we found essential signs missing, such as a price list for the mini-bar, leading to confusion and potential overcharges. The dinner portions were notably small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. The sauna experience was disorganized, and the hot tub was out of order, depriving us of promised amenities that were critical in our decision making in choosing to stay at the glass igloos. We were under the impression when booking this experience that the sauna and hot tub uses wouldn’t be limited to certain hours, let alone be completely unavailable.

Professionalism amongst the staff was also disappointing. We were constantly reminded by a staff that she had to leave by 9, which led to the aforementioned lack of orientation and instruction to the facilities and experience. The ambiance was further tarnished by staff members audibly expressing frustration, shouting profanities audible to the guests from a distance.

The lack of adequate restroom facilities, with only two communal stalls for thirty people, was unacceptable, especially considering the influx of visitors who did not book the 24-hour experience using the amenities until after midnight. We were told explicitly to avoif the use of bathroom in our igloo. The supposed luxurious experience was nowhere to be found, with empty shampoo and conditioner bottles adding to the list of shortcomings in the communal areas, in addition to dirty bath mats and used rags laying out. Without any soap, shampoo or conditioner, we were unable to shower and did not feel comfortable using the sauna knowing we were unable to shower.

The Google and booking.com reviews were misleading, painting an inaccurate picture of the quality of the experience. Overall, our $1000 per night experience was a complete letdown, and we would not recommend this experience to anyone seeking a pleasant and fulfilling stay. Don't waste your time or money. We are beyond upset about our experience.

While the overall snowmobile excursion was decent, and our guide was friendly, the return journey left much to be desired. We were informed midway that we could either switch snowmobiles immediately or wait for five minutes to tackle the worst section on the way back. Wanting to ease my girlfriend's concerns about the challenging segment, we decided to wait. However, one of the guides, Martin, made only a single stop on the return journey, right at the end, despite at least four stops on the way there. The second guide followed the initial plan. Unfortunately, this meant my girlfriend missed the chance to try riding snowmobile, even though she paid a quite a big amount for the experience. We would recommend exploring alternatives with other companies.
