We stayed at the Wivel Hotel for 8 nights using it as a base for ski touring. We found the staff all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.||The hotel itself is warm and welcoming, I would say the bedrooms are on the small side If sharing a room, perfect if not, bathrooms are modern and well equipped.||Breakfasts are a combination of a hot dish cooked to order from the menu and a well set out buffet.||Hot drinks are available near the reception all day.||The Bistro restaurant downstairs and accessed directly from the Hotel is quite exceptional, great food beautifully presented, we dined there all week.||The local ski centre is easily accessed via the ski bus and the opportunities for ski touring in the area are excellent, hire car needed for that.||Would I go back, absolutely.

Excellent hotel in a good location in the centre of Narvik close to the bus station. Staff are very friendly and provide great service. The breakfast is great. Coffee is available during the day. Recommended.

Nice cozy hotel, located across from Scandic Narvik, two shopping centers, a bus terminal and a 10-15 min walk to the train station. This place is a hidden gem. Great value, wonderful people. You could have swore that you paid double for the service they offered.

I'm a solo traveler and the room provides was very comfortable. The bed is soft and provided nice support. The sheets are clean and the comforter provided nice warmth in the cold season. The person that check me in was very friendly and show me to my room. He didn't have to do that but that level of service is unheard of. Even at the 4 season hotel here in Dallas, TX.

Breakfast is complementary at the time of my visit. A great selection of warm and cold food. Table is assigned with your room number which is perfect because you're not tying up a 4 seater table for 1 person. Each table has food set out, like bread, fruits and a small portion of granola portion. Plus another menu for bacon and eggs and pancakes. Also complementary. I'm telling you, the value here in unbelieveable.

The pub they have on the 1st level is amazing. Great food, full of flavor.

If you're visiting Narvik, book this place.

Hotel located in the centre of Narvik. No privatr parking place, at weekend free parking by the street. Room was just ok, beds aren't very comfortable and in twin room they were pretty narrow. Bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was very nice! Good for one night stand, wouldn't stay longer.

Lite og billig. Rent og pent. Kjedelig og lite rom, men helt ok. Hyggelig resepsjonist.
Veldig bra frokost. En ekstra stjerne bare på grunn av frokosten! Man bestiller egg (eggerøre, pannekake, speilegg med bacon osv) og de lager den fersk for deg. Vi spurte om å få fylt termos med varmt vann og vannflasker med kaldt vann, og de fylte alt og vasket flaskene til og med. God service,

Warm welcome and friendly service. Rooms are comfortable but some of them may be noisy. Fantastic breakfast. I would come back with pleasure.
