Vi hadde fem fantastiske dager i en hyggelig rorbu i Ramnvika. Gode senger, godt renhold, hjelpsomme eiere som var lette å be om hjelp. Vi gikk noen fine turer lokalt, været var strålende selv om det var i september, og vi nøt stillheten om kveldene. Reiste litt rundt på dagtid, mange steder som er hyggelige å besøke. En fordel å ha tilgang til bil. Kommer gjerne tilbake. ||Også likte vi de spreke fargene på rorbuene!

Forventet ikke at det skulle ligge så bra til som det gjorde. De som driver stedet er kjempekoselige og hjelpsomme. Forskjellige rorbuer man kan velge i. Og det ligger i et rolig området uten mye bråk. Fin utsikt til havna i Ballstad. Vi bodde i en rorbu for 2 stk, der var det tilgang til eget bad, dobbelseng og mulighet for å koke vann og en mikro. Men man hadde mulighet for å bruke felleskjøkkenet i en av rorbuene for større måltider. Skal du til Lofoten og utforske området er dette stedet og overnatte!

I have been to many hostels around the world, but this one is very special. It is basic, but brings you the home like feeling. It is always warm inside. The kitchen and all the facilities are perfectly equipped, the coffee and tea are free of charge.

The prices are more than reasonable for Norway.

Definitely the best price/quality combination. Parking is included. There are bunk bed rooms, twin rooms, etc. Recommended for everyone.

What an incredible find! Authentic old fishhuts that's been renovated to cosy apartments! Everything you need is there and the host Yngvar is the nicest person you'll meet! One of our favourite stays while visiting Lofoten 🙂

Very nice and helpful host. Beautiful view on the port and the mountains. Good atmosphere. It's worth to dwell in the community building where you can have coffee or tea for free while either playing on the piano or painting.

The hut we stayed was cute and if had been maintained or cleaned , it would have been a great stay. The bed was very bad, and after one night of sleeping in broke in the middle. Only one heater worked of the three in the whole hut. When we arrived the hut hadn't been cleaned after the last occupants. Thankfully we found some clean sheets in the kitchen left for us so we were able to clean one room with 2 bunk beds and make our beds. The kitchen was very cold because two windows didn't close all the way through. Our second night of stay some new guests came to stay but after a while in the kitchen and after trying to use one of the other heaters, they decided to leave too. The shower drain doesn't work properly and after someone takes a shower it takes about half an hour for the water accumulated to drain out.
