I highly recommend staying in this place if you are skiing with a private guide in the Lyngen area. Trond is a great host, very quick to reply.

The house has everything you need -- including a separate drying room and aurora room that acts as another living room or aurora-viewing room. The furnishings are high quality and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The living room is very cozy and spacious. The bathroom was perfect for our needs -- good shower pressure, nice to have some counter space by the sink.

We stayed at this lodge for just over a week and the location is amazing. Outside the mountains are just beautiful. The lodge itself is located close to a shop and facilities, and the drive to tromso is okay, about 1 hour 30 minutes. Inc ferry.

The lodge is very well equipped with cooking utensils, spices and other condiments and the quality of the furniture/kitchen seem very high spec. The lodge stays warms even when temperatures are -15 outside!

Trond as a host is also very responsive, fast to reply and very nice. The price for the lodge is good too, for what it is..

A few improvements: The shower could be stronger as the pressure is low. Even though the lodge is very high tech (smart tv, surround sound) the WI-FI is quite weak therefore on our stay we couldn't use the TV (Netflix, Youtube) and the music would sometimes buffer..Perhaps some more board games too (scrabble is available but that's it)

I would 100% recommend this place. Simply on just the location & high quality furnishing delivered from Trond.
