Fjord House - Grimo

I really enjoyed my stay here. Fjord House felt comfortable and like home. It was just what I needed after being on the road for a while in Europe. The dinner was great, a cream-based fish stew and a tasty berry tart for dessert. The room I stayed in was cozy and spacious and had an excellent view of the fjord. The hosts were very kind and even gave me a bag of cherries they grew for my kayaking trip. Staying here was a pleasure, thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed here for only one night - our last night in Norway. It was last minute decision when the rain wouldn't stop. We turned up unannounced (very rude of us!) but the host was more then happy to accommodate us. It was so picturesque and such a cool concept for a guest house on the hill. Would highly recommend staying here! Bed was so comfortable. Rooms clean. Decoration and finishing touches also perfect. We had a nice breakfast with the other guests and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and wished we could have stayed longer. Would have loved to visit and try more of the cider in the area as well.

I would also recommend checking out the sauna on the water (10min walk from the guest house). It's not affiliated with the guest house, but it's super close and the perfect way to end the day and walk back up the hill!

We only planned to stay one night at this beautiful farm on the hills of Grimo, but had to extend our visit because the place is just magnificent. The look-out over the fjord, the view from the beautiful room on the misty forrest when the sun rises and a delicious breakfast...it was wonderful. The food is fresh from the garden, everything is organic and exquisit, you can go kajaking on the fjord, go biking or walking up the hills in Grimo. The lodge is also a perfect starting point for hikes in the area (for example Oksen or Trolltunga). If you want to relax, have a coffee while reading a book, enjoy good company and authentic food, you should pay a visit to Maria and her husband at the ForRest Lodge. Невероятно волшебное место, когда попадаешь сюда не хочется уезжать, владелец дома Финни очень гостеприимный человек. Обязательно оставаться минимум 3 дня, пробовать местный сидр и пироги, наслаждаться видом и отдыхом в уютном доме. Всем рекомендую 10*
Incredibly magical place, when you get here you do not want to leave, the owner of the house Finney is very hospitable person. Be sure to stay at least 3 days, try the local cider and pies, enjoy the view and rest in a cozy house. I recommend everyone 10 *

Absolutely great! Kind staff, lovely breakfast, nice and very clean rooms, and totally advanced location and view.
Right place to stay more than one night!
Right place to start any hiking adventure or other outdoor activities in this region.
