What a magic place. After a long ski trip under the snow, we finally find a very cozy hut lost in the mountain.
The huts are very well equipped, with everything you need, even a sauna! What an experience to get out in the snow storm after spending time in the sauna. In winter, temperature is negative when you arrive, but the wood stove works effectively and we quickly felt good.

Amazing experience! Quite challenging walk but thoroughly enjoyable! Sauna is great and can dip in the ice water in between. Facilities are great, there was only one other couple there when we visited in June

An incredible setting for a DNT hut. The huts themselves are very well equipped with anything you need, as well as saunas. The dog friendly little hut sleeps 4 people. We had an amazing two nights here!

Great place to stay for one or multiple nights. The area feels really remote and is beatiful. As common in DNT huts you will find a gas stove, a wood stove, a big diner table, a couch, good bunk beds (bring your own sheets) and a basic toilet. Besides you will find wind and solar driven elektricity (you can use this for charging your phone and there is a radio) and a sauna. In the hut there is no phone connection. From the hut you can make several beatiful hikes! We hiked a little bit in the direction of Vangpollskaret with good weather, which was amazing!

The walk from Lobersbergsvatnet towards Snytindhytta was for us (in relatively wet circumstances) a lot harder than expected. You have to cross multiple streams (with no bridge) with relatively fast flowing water due to recent rain. Since we wanted to avoid hitting the stones with bare feet our shoes floated multiple times crossing the streams (waterdepth was 10 cm below the knee). For one of the streams (before the steep way up) the Norwegian hikers advised us to walk a bit upstream before crossing. Beside the streams there are also some challenging stone piles you have to cross.

For the way back we chosen to go in the direction of Djupfjord, this is way easier! There was however still one challenging deep water crossing (at Beibarnsvatnan) with fast flowing water 10 cm below your middle.

Det er gjort en kjempejobb med hytta og fasilitetene 👍 men Telenor kunne fiksa litt bedre dekning så man lettere kan ringe å si fra at man er trygt fremme

Et flott sted i en fantastisk natur. Det er et godt utgangspunkt for ytterligere utforsking av omegn, og gode fiskemuligheter. Avslutt dagen i badstua, og se nordlyset fare over himmelen.
