For the price, it is fine. It is basically a hotel with private rooms. The rooms are not bad and the bed was good. There is a sink in the room but bathroom is shared. The showers are terrible. No soap or anything, so didn't shower. There is a kitchen and fridge. We just stayed here overnight, so it did the job. Location is great. Would not stay here if you are super picky and want a hotel experience. This is a place for budget travelers or backpackers.

I stayed in a single room with a toilet, shower, small fridge, kettle, and microwave. Starting with the positives: the location is perfect, close to everything, and the bathroom had heated floors. The room, shower, and fridge were all clean. Unfortunately, that's where the advantages end.

The sink is practically inside the shower, and there's mold on the ceiling. The room is extremely small, making it only suitable if you need a cheap place to sleep for one night, but not for a longer stay. Despite some pictures showing a stove, there wasn't one in my room, and although there was a microwave, no plates were provided. The window faces the inside of the building, and if opened, there's constant noise from a machine, even at night. When I tried sleeping with the window closed, my nose became blocked, likely due to dust or mold, forcing me to open it again.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be returning.

Whatever you do, don't book here. Terrible hotel. Stayed here with my wife and kids. We were traveling with bicycles. They told us we had to store the bikes in the hotel courtyard. One of our bikes was stolen. Hotel took no responsibility, telling us that anything that gets stolen is at our risk because they are a "budget" hotel. Also, the toilet was leaking, the whole place smelled of fried fish, and there were numerous dangerous building code violations. We reported these to the City of Bergen. Hopefully this flophouse will lose its license so no one else has to experience the misfortune of booking here. The name of the owner is Preben Reppenhagen, in case anyone else needs to file a complaint.

Ubicación buena, las sabanas estaban muy limpias pero la habitación era con cocina y estaba sucia de hecho no habían retirado la basura del cliente anterior. El radiador tenía dos dedos de polvo. La puerta se movía y había un dedo de rendija. Los baños regular, necesitarían limpieza más regular por parte del personal, además estaba en obras y no sé hasta que punto con obras se puede alojar gente. Trastos en la recepción. No te acoge nadie a la llegada. No lo recomiendo.

fire exit was locked
The fire alarm went off in the morning and we tried to use the closest clearly marked fire exit, at the end of the corridor. There we had to undo latches on two different doors before entering a staircase. When we came down to groundlevel the door to the outside was LOCKED and could not be opened. We were forced to run two floors back upstairs and exit via the main staircase. The main entrance can also only be opened via an electronic switch from the inside which luckily worked in our case, but this might be dangerous if the electricity doesn't work (some people were shaking the door knob because they didn't see the switch).

Unsure if it was a real fire as no firefighters showed up and we were able to go back inside after ten minutes.

Apart from that the hostel was nice nd clean, check in was quick and the room and bathroom was good.

The noise is very loud, but it's bearable. The lack of hygiene can also be managed. The problem is the cold. There are rooms with heating and rooms without heating. If you end up in a cold one, in Bergen, you're really screwed.

Very compact rooms and best location for a tourist.

Found very clean toilets and sheet’s.

Very small room sizes but has all the facilities.
