DO NOT BOOK!
Stayed here many times. The hotel itself is fine and the location is good.
Reception is almost always closed and they .

almost never answer the phone.
You recieve a sms with the code to the front door/room door and this usually works okay however on my last visit the code did not work at all so I I was unable to enter the hotel. Tried calling the hotel but as usual nobody responded. Another person had the same issue and we both had to find alternative hotels but the entire evening was ruined after hours trying to contact anyone for help. Apparently not a best western hotel anymore either

After managing to finally contact the hotel today I was met with a very rude attitude and no offers or compensation.
Will forward this case to forbrukerrådet.

Negativt: Lite lydisolert. Ellers topp beliggenhet, automatisk innsjekk og utsjekk. Bra renhold. Ingen frokost inkludert, men så er også prisen langt under halvparten av andre hoteller. Bor her jevnlig, pris tatt i betraktning får du ikke noe bedre i Stavanger.

Det er EKSTREMT lytt mellom rommene, mellom etasjene og ut til gata. Her kan man høre naboen snakke i telefon, hoste og se på TV. Ellers var rommet jeg fikk rent og pent. Hotellet er ikke nytt, men har mye bruk igjen. Det var gode fasiliteter på rommet som fremstod som romslig og ryddig. Dessverre var det ingen mulighet for bagasjeoppbevaring. Frokosten har jeg ikke prøvd ut etter å ha lest tidligere anmeldelser.

Rommene var helt greie, men frokosten er den dårligste jeg har opplevd på mine 40 år som musiker på reise. Jeg vet jo ikke hvor mange som overnattet her denne helgen, men da jeg kom til frokost kl 08.30 var det 4 brødskiver, 1 kaldt bløtkokt egg og et kaldt hardkokt i bollen. Ingen appelsinjuice, ikke eggerøre ikke bacon. Det var i det hele tatt svært dårlig utvalg. Jeg spurte betjeningen om det var mulig å koke noen egg til oss 5 i bandet, men hun svarte nei. Jeg sa at det må da være mulig, og hun svarte at da ville det ta 12 minutter. Jeg spiste litt men de andre gadd ikke. Vi betalte kr 165 hver for noe som ikke var vært 50 kr.

Never again this unfriendly and run-down hotel. Talk about overpriced! ||Already upon arrival and check-in, we were met by a grumpy and unhelpful receptionist. ||She claimed that I had not registered the name of my colleague who was to stay in the other room. And were arguing about it. I have a written booking confirmation from Best Western received by e-mail, which confirms that I had registered my name in room 1 and my colleague in room 2. Bad style and start! ||||Terrible cleaning, stained and dirty on the bed and mattress sides and carpets in room 115. Dirty and stained/missing wallpaper and mold in the shower in room 103. I have already mentioned the breakfast. Disastrous! ||||It is unacceptable that you do not receive a receipt when you pay for our hotel stay. It is actually not okay or legal in Norway. If you want a receipt, you have to send an email to the hotel and specify your name and hotel room? I did, but did not receive a receipt. Then called reception and she lied about a receipt being sent by e-mail. Was then sent a blurry screenshot of the receipt via sms Never again this unfriendly hotel!

The booking information on the third-party playform was misleading. Nowhere on the site did it mention the need for a passcode for hotel/room entry. We never received an email from Best Western Havly Hotel for the passcode. Additionally, the lack of a front desk, laundry facility, or common area for food and drinks was disappointing. We had to rely on other guests for information and ended up making international calls to obtain the passcode. It would be helpful to provide a local assistance phone for guests if there's no front desk service.

Otherwise, the hotel is in a good location where you can easily walk around the town and get food/drinks.

Had to get the call center to change my reservation. When I arrived at the hotel the reception was closed. I tried to call the hotel earlier the same day and the day before but no answer and tried again upon arrival, still no answer. Had to call the US office. They said that my reservation was cancelled, and the hotel was full so they could not help me and not explain why I got no mail about the cancellation. Walked out of the hotel and booked another hotel different brand. No problems there. Later the same evening I get a call from the hotel, they reacted to my missed call. The receptionist could not explain why my reservation was cancelled and said the they where not fully booked. He said that maybe the other receptionist cancelled my reservation. He wanted to find out about it but could not explain. ||They said they where changing brand soon, leaving Best Western. ||Will not use them in the future. Just an extra stress. Hard to get in contact with. Irritated because of the cancellation with no explanation, information or E-mail.

I have stayed in this hotel in 2022 and 2023. 2022 was a better experience. In 2023 there is almost no-one at the reception. We couldnt be on time for check in and it was hard to reach the hotel by telephone. Finally someone picked up the phone. Late check in was possible because you will have an accescode instead of a roomkey. I would like to know if they always send you the code?

The room was oke. Not big, but comfortable beds.

The breakfast is very poor. It was better in 2022.

Location is very central.

Be aware that on Friday and Saturday there is lots of noise from the nearby pubs and people on the streets.
