It’s not the rooms that are the main attraction of this hotel (although they are quite comfortable and clean). But the extremely kind and attentive staff that really makes this hotel stand out. I’ve met nice hotel staff before, but “extremely kind” is a new one. The effect is a wonderful experience that makes you truly believe in humanity and human connection. Old,no lift, it would also be passable (the room was clean, good breakfast) but the person who manages it is the most unpleasant character we have ever seen, totally unsuitable for managing an accommodation facility. First of all there is almost never anyone at the reception, just entering the hotel is challenging as the door is always closed, the character in question gets annoyed at every simple and obvious request, such as booking a table for dinner (annoyingly he explained that on January 1st the choice would be limited because he hadn't done the shopping and had no waiters, as if this depended on by customers); or like the very simple request to call a taxi for the next morning (he immediately said that it would be very difficult to find available taxi drivers, at which point i called the Honningsvag taxi number and within 30 seconds we had the taxi booked); and finally, he ignored our request to leave us a breakfast bag for the morning of checkout since we had to leave at 5 am, which we were assured upon arrival. Furthermore, the only hotel we have ever stayed in that didn't even have a kettle of water in the room. I hope that the hotel can change management as soon as possible.

Location is right in the middle of town and only on-street parking available (free until 0900 am)||Mattresses are completely worn out, lumpy and hard. Should have been replaced a long time ago.||Walls and floors/ceiling are paper thin and talk & snoring from other rooms are fully audible.||Clean but super small bathroom.||Friendly staff but reception not 24hrs. Phone number is available.||Restaurant Havly closed on Mondays||Breakfast included

We didn't stay at the hotel, we just had an evening meal which was extremely good.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The dining room was very modern and if the rest of the hotel is like this then it will be very good.

Lokalt hotell uten kjedetilknytning. God service og greit rom. Hyggelig pris. Maten sies å være god her, uten at jeg fikk muligheten til å prøve annet enn frokost.

Beware that there is little to no sound proofing - if you are a light sleeper you really want to bring your ear plugs!

When we stayed here, a group of bikers came back at around 2am. One by one rolled in over the course of 30 mins - first the motorcycles woke us up; vibrating windows + loose items in the room. Then we "followed" them walking upstairs (no lift!) to various floors in their heavy boots. None of them tried to be particularly loud but that didn't help - we could still follow all of their whispery conversations. Lastly some of them decided to take a shower which, again, we could perfectly follow along with, across all floors ...

There is also a street right next to some of the rooms - while this isn't a particularly busy road, the windows do nothing to keep car noise outside.

Breakfast was OK; only toast bread though - no loafs or rolls (if this is important to you).

If I come to visit lovely Nordkapp again, I'll try to stay at a different place.

Great place to stay at this remote place in the world. Price-quality is very good.
Room is nice and comfortable for our 2-night stay. Breakfast is a large buffet to get you going for the day.
You can park on the street (only pay between 9-17).
Recommend it and would go back.

Hotellet er helt greit, folkene som jobber der er veldig service innstilte og hyggelige. Men de snakker stort sett bare engelsk. ||Det er heller ikke heis på hotellet. ||Siste dagen ble det ikke servert frokost.. noe som er trist når man betaler for dette.
