Mission accomplished... we saw beautiful Northern Lights all three evenings of our stay! It was a bonus that the cabins are super charming, clean, and very comfortable. Maria and Nils are sweet people who are also very helpful. Nils transported us from/back to the ferry with our luggage. Maria gave us wonderful recommendations for activities in the Vengsøy area but also for accommodations and restaurants in other towns on our route through Lofoten. The island is peaceful and beautiful... perfect for rest and relaxation. We stayed 3 nights, would have loved to stay longer. Seriously.

We had an amazing stay at these beautiful and cozy cabins! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. It’s a perfect getaway after a few nights in Tromsø. Comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room and kitchen, amazing views!! We relaxed in the jacuzzi and saw the northern lights from the dock. Host met us at the ferry dock (without us even asking him to!), and even made sure we had transport back to Tromsø. Would absolutely return to this wonderful spot!

Beautiful, cozy and clean cottages holding a very high standard. Immediate proximity to short mountain hikes (my 3-year old handled the hike to Hundbergtind), which still rewards you with an incredible view. If you're the more adventurous kind, Stortind and Vengsøytraversen will deliver if you'd like to up the exitement level (by a lot). Hike (or ski) straight down, have a dip in the clear blue water just off the peer, and then jump into the warm jaccuzzi and watch the northern lights. What's not to like?

One of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever made! We stayed for a full month at the beautiful cabin in Vengsoy. Vengsoy is a small, serene and stunning island that is the perfect place to relax and reconnect to yourself and nature. The city tromso is reachable within 1 hour by ferry and car. There’s loads of things to do here: see the northern lights, go fishing, go snow hiking, take an ice bath, see Orkas or experience the city tromso. All in all it was the perfect place for us to fully relax surrounded by nature and be creative working on our projects. The hosts are extremely nice and will go above and beyond to help you with anything you’ll need! We 100% recommend staying at Vengsoy Rorbuer 🙂

We had the good fortune to spend a week here in July. The cabins are new and really cosy with a well equipped kitchen, nice dining area, two good-sized bathrooms and with really comfortable beds in the top-floor bedroom. There's also a laundry room, wich comes in handy if you plan to do some fishing or hiking. There's about ' meters from the cabin to the sea, and inbetween you'll find a Jacuzzi for your convenience. Two minutes walk up the road you'll find a neat supermarket. We brought our own boat, but they have boats available for rent if you want to try your luck fishing for cod, hallibut or wolf fish. The waters around are also notoriously known for whale watching.||Or you could simply stay inside and enjoy a great view from the comfort of the couch..||Highly recommended!

Peace and tranquility at its finest.. hosts are amazing .. accommodation is amazing.. location is stunning, literally point your camera and off you don't take a fabulous photo of the awe inspiring scenery then just wait 10 minutes and redo.... nighttime and the northern lights come out and dance across the skies for you (if you're lucky)

Cozy, high standard cabins.Such a romantic atmosphere with outdoor jacuzzi under the stars!! Helpful staff. Georgeous seaview! Mountainhikes only minutes away by foot, small cozy shop very close nearby, friendly people. Highly recommended!!

Went to Vengsøy Rorbuer with my friends for the weekend. During the evening we went by boat to a beautiful place called Rekvika, it was absolutely stunning and we got to dive from the boat! When we got back, the hot jacuzzi waited for us. Thank you for a lovely stay in the amazing sea cabins!
